The agreement between Apache and OFS Portal provides Apache with the data protections necessary to interact with Members of the community as a trading partner committed to the use of PIDX standards. The Petroleum Industry Data Exchange, PIDX, is API’s committee on Electronic Business Standards and Processes formed to develop and promote the implementation of electronic standards for the oil and natural gas industry.   Continued adoption of these standards, as seen here with Apache, is driving seamless, efficient electronic business within the petroleum industry and its trading community.
